Here's a link to the Artbeads.com tutorial.

I use these for anything that will be worn often or has heavier beads. Easy and a nice clean, professional look.

you put a crimp bead on first then thread your wire through one side and out the other of the thimble, put on a clasp then thread your wire through the crimp tube again and crimp. love them!

Question
How do I make a bail using a string of seed beads?
I've seen a necklace made of 3 stands of thin leather with a donut attached using 4 loops of seed beads. The leather strands are also wrapped about 40 times using a second string of seed beads at the center of the necklace under the seed bead bail.

One of our Learning Center designs, the Twisted Rainforest Necklace, contains several links that are made out of multiple loops of seed beads, much like a beaded bail. You can easily adapt these instructions for creating the links into a bail of your own design:

When ordering beads save your invoices in a file or folder. Beads purchases elsewhere keep your receipts and staple to a note with information about your purchase.

how do I make a 2 string necklace with a pendent?
Please tell me how I can use the two hole spacer beads.

You can find several design ideas of multi-strand necklaces with a pendant in our Learning Center. Each design idea will have a materials list, instructions and links to any relevant jewelry-making techniques. You can find these designs via the following link:

http://www.artbeads.com/lc-jewelry-necklaces-multi-strand-pendant.html

To use the multistrand spacer beads and bars, you will first want to make sure that the beads you are planning to use will be appropriate for the size of the spacer. You will want to choose beads that will not overlap in the space between holes on the spacer and cause the strands to look crooked.

If you are using multistrand spacers on a bracelet, you can bead the multiple strands equally; that is, have the same amount of beads and same patterning on each strand. With necklaces, however, you will not be able to do this. You will need to plan for adding extra beads to each additional strand from the top to accommodate the way the necklace will lay on a person. For instance, on a three strand necklace, you may need to add five extra beads to the middle strand, and ten extra beads to the bottom strand. The number of extra beads that will be used will vary according to the design pattern and the size of the beads being used. Many times, the way that you will figure out the precise number of these additions is through trial and error. Don't forget to try the necklace on before finishing it completely and crimping the ends, so you can see how it will lay!

Question
what thicknesses are the nymo thread sizes?
I have never used thread and I do not know which is thicker. size 0 or size D? size B? which is the standard to use for stringing necklaces and bracelets, with stones or beads? which is best for pearls?

The thinnest Nymo thread is OO, followed by O, B, D and F being the thickest. Size D would be a typical size to use if you were stringing a wearable jewelry piece, provided that the beads are not extremely heavy. Pearls and gemstones tend to have smaller drilled holes than most other beads, so they may require a thinner thread. There is not an industry standard hole size, so the hole size will vary from strand to strand. If you are looking at a specific strand of pearls or gemstones that we carry, please feel free to contact our Customer Service department with the product code and we would be happy to measure the hole size for you.

The actual measurement size will vary by type of bead and supplier. A SS12 bead by Swarovski, for example, will have much larger measurements than a 12/0 seed bead. If you could contact our Customer Service department by phone or email and supply us with any additional information on the beads that you are considering (ie. Swarovski flatbacks, glass, sterling silver beads, etc.), we would be happy to provide you with more specific measurements.
