Do any one remember the paper/fabric used to glue a cabonchon down with and start beading off of it? I think it was stiffy laci or something like that thanks Onita
Artbeads has recently added the stiff stuff you're asking about. The item # is LSS-001 for one sheet.

They are not hard to use at all. The loops make a convenient attachment point. You will, however, need to practice your wire wrapping skills to make wrapped loops. Buy some cheaper copper or art wire to practice with before you venture into sterling silver!
Embellishment rings are fun, trendy and simple to decorate. Need inspiration? You can find our embellishment ring design ideas in our Learning Center via the following link:

You can certainly use organza ribbon to string a necklace; due to its delicate nature, however, you would want to avoid hanging large, heavy pieces from the ribbon.
For an example of how to incorporate organza ribbon into your jewelry, designs, check out the following design idea in our Learning Center:

Use a head pin to string some beads, then attach it to the bookmark with a wrapped loop. Or attach a charm with a jump ring. See the "alternate image" for the "Shepherd's Hook Bookmark".

Question
If I used a tin box to store sterling silver would it tarnish?

I wouldn't risk it. The tin itself will tarnish. However, if you first wrapped the silver in plastic, or sealed it in a bag it would be fine. This way you prevent contact with both the tin and the air which will oxidize the silver. It's also a good idea to store silver with anti-tarnishing paper.
It is recommended to use an air tight container or zip lock bag with tarnish strips to ensure that the beads won't tarnish.

Question
Can I use anything else on the leather cuff besides flatbacks?

Taking into consideration the previous answer, how about using tags? I would attach a bead or a charm on the one end, then clue the tag down on the leather cuff and finally I would clue a flat back charm or bead on top of the tag, to hide the tag. This certianly would add depth and interest to the bracelet. Hope this helps! Deb

The Black Leather Encased Metal Cuff (Product Code: CUFF01) can only be embellished by gluing onto the cuff. There is not enough material or padding on the front of the cuff to stitch beads or charms onto it.
