To attach beading chain to a clasp, you will need to use a crimp end, for example, the Sterling Silver 1.2mm Fancy Crimp End (SS-CREND01) on each end of the chain. You will then attach your clasp to the ring on the crimp end with an open jump ring.

Hi Bert, I always use an open jump ring. I try to make sure the jump ring is a smaller gauge than my chain so it won't allow the chain to slip through. On occassions I have dotted a bit of glue where the jump ring meets just to make sure the chain won't fall through the tiny slit. Victoria

Which size you should use is entirely up to you, and should be based on the design you want to make.
As far as glue, I like e-6000, which you can get here at artbeads : http://www.artbeads.com/e6000-01.html It dries crystal clear and will stick pretty much any two things together!

You need to leave a small amount of wire exposed (around 3mm). If you crimp too close to the last bead, it will cause the bracelet to be stiff because the beads are unable to move and flex with the wire and shape of your wrist.
