In my experience, the best stringing material is ZambaPro flexible wire.

While covered wire will last longest, many of my favorite bracelets are strung on elastic. Some are several years old and still snapping back. I like that there's no clasp to detract from the sparkle of the crystals. Plus, it's clear so it doesn't show.

I personally use Soft Flex .019 and .026 nylon covered wire. Eventually all wires wear out I've found but these last the longest if you plan to wear them daily.

I was lost too when I started. I bought a book called "Jewelry Making For Fun and Profit" by Lynda S. Musante and Maria Given Nerius. They have a chapter called " A mini course in crafts business basics". It has a checklist of everything you need to do to get started. What a great resource! I highly recommend it.

You cannot legally charge taxes unless you have registered within your State and have been authorize to collect taxes on behalf of the state you live in. You need to decide if you are doing this as a hobby or as a business. Once you register, you need to keep track of all your income and it has to be recorded monthly or quarterly to your state's local tax authority. Good luck.

To elaborate a bit more on the previous answer, I recommend that you go to the website of your state's Department of Revenue and poke around for things such as sales and use tax, business licenses, etc. It can be a bit confusing but I think it's a good place to start, then you can figure out what questions to ask.

isn't exactly what you've asked for but I think you'll like it. It's a simple shape with a heart cut out of the center, One side has the words LOVE LIFE, LIVE LIFE stamped and the reverse says FOLLOW YOUR HEART. It has a bail at the top and a drilled hole for a dangle at the bottom. I gotten them for several people and they loved them!

answer 2
That depends on the size of the bead but there are a few charts that can help: http://www.artbeads.com/bhowmabeareo.html and http://www.artbeads.com/metric-conversions.html. THe first chart lets you know how many beads of each size are in 7 inches (not sure what size bracelet you are making but 7" is my own wrist size), and the second chart with the help of a calculator can help you figure out how many beads of each size you need per inch. Also be sure you account for how long the clasp is going to be. Hope this helps!

It really depends on what the size of the bead is and the size of the wrist. Probably 50-100 seed-bead-size beads will do. It also might be a good idea to take measurements of the wrist or of an average wrist and then note the size of the bead you want to get (e.g. 10 mm) Then divide the wrist size by the size of the beads you want to get and you know how many. Good luck!

I would agree with the previous answer. If you think you are going to do a lot of beading/jewelry making, I do recommend purchasing a good pair of cutters. These are expensive...but worth every penny. Artbeads often has super sales so you could get these for up to 20% off .

To hang the 4439 20mm Crystal Vitrail Light Square Ring diagonally on a chain, you will need to use the Sterling Silver Triple Heart Hoop Bail (ISBL-0017). This is the only bail that we carry that will be large enough to accommodate the square ring hung diagonally.

Swarovski crystal rings

There are several ways that you can use the Swarovski 4139 Cosmic Ring. You can use beaded links, chain or wire to either link several Cosmic Rings together or to incorporate one Ring into your design. For a simpler approach, you can slide a chain or other stringing material through the center, making the Cosmic Ring a simple yet unique focal piece. If you would prefer the Ring to face completely forward, you can create a beaded bail or a chain bail to hang the Ring from your jewelry piece.

What is the silver content of your sterling silver beads and do they tarnish easily?

Our Sterling Silver beads and components are 92.5% pure sterling. Several items are plated with 99.9% fine silver for tarnish resistance; this information will be noted under "Treatments" on the product page.
To prevent your silver items from tarnishing, store them in air-tight containers such as Zip-Loc Bags or Tupperware with anti-tarnish carbon strips and keep them away from anything acidic or sulfuric. A rubber band, for example, will turn silver black. Paper and cardboard will also tarnish silver, unless it is acid-free.
